Tali Lerner is a secondary science resource teacher at San Diego Unified School district. In her role she designs curriculum and implementation of relevant phenomenon based science learning, connecting student interest, cutting edge science and the scientific questions facing our societies. The SDUSD science department works to build meaningful science learning through strong relationships, local, community based partnerships and a focus on curiosity and diverse ways of knowing. In previous roles Tali led the implementation of a restorative practices system as a HS assistant principal and designed environmental science project based curriculum for middle schools in Israel.
