Lacy Szuwalski

Lacy Szuwalski co-leads the STEAM Initiative for San Diego Unified School District. Their team aims to cultivate curious, creative, changemakers through providing project-based learning experiences that are grounded in the Next Generation Science Standards. Lacy’s passion for PBL came from her experience in High Tech High’s Graduate School of Education, where she obtained her Master of Education in School Leadership. Lacy prides herself in being a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and loves creating experiences for herself and students to serve others.
